Our history
Until the end of the 19th century, the Tahi Manor House operated as a Hunter's Bath. Before the 1900s, the huge pool inside the house meant relaxation for tired hunters. After that, the Hunter's Bath was thoughtfully transformed into a Manor. The large pool was covered and replaced by a beautiful ballroom, which continued to serve as a salon or dance space for popular balls for nobles in the early 20th century.
During these times, such big names as Edward Teller and John von Neumann visited the Manor's salon, who often spent their time at the frequently organized balls. According to imaginary stories, the bath still rests under the ballroom and after the fun, in the early hours of the morning, when the shoes are quiet on the floor, you can still hear the splashing water of the pool to this day.
